Midcentury vintage Heart shaped, ruby red, handblown Murano Venetian art glass, made in Murano, Italy. Sommerso in blue glass, with controlled bullicante bubbles, art glass heart shaped bowl, with black glass trim. Unmarked, unlabeled, but has been positively identified as Venetian art glass.The pontil on bottom was polished clear, but has light scrapes from being pulled across a table. 6" long, 5" wide (at widest point). 3" deep bowl. Magnifico! Midcentury Modern late 1950s- early 60s. Originally an ashtray, but a lovely item for a trinket dish, vanity decor or for a candy dish. The sensual Heart shape 2024 makes this an exquisite gift to express love and affection!
