Woman in 2024 the Leafs.

This is a print on a photo paper in the 2024 limited edition of 40 prints. It is signed and numbered by me. It comes from my original gouache painting.

This is one of my illustrations of the series for the brothers' Grimms fairy tale "Ondine".
You can see a portrait of a woman which is in front of the leafs. In this picture, the woman and the Nature are equals, she seems to silently communicate with the plants. She's connected to the Nature, her own wisdom and power come from this communion with plants, trees, grass, forests, lakes, rivers. The leafs are turned to the woman, they are senitives and conscious.
This illustration is done in the pantheistic and animistic spirit; the reality is divinity, all-things compose an all-encompassing, immanent god. Than, the plants, places, and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence.

I wanted to represent the Nature by painting it with gouache and to represent the profile of the long-haired woman by drawing it with pencils. Therefore it's a mixed media illustration.

I was unconsciously inspired by Frida Kahlo's, Georgia O'Keeffe's and many others artists' works.

I hope that this illustration is going to bring you peace, silence, beauty, serenity and inspiration.
