Hand-Crafted Vintage Inspired Art Sculpture, 18th Century Vulture 2024 Illustration, Vintage Silver Goblet, Wire Birdcage

Inspired by a combination of Gothic design, folk art, contemporary design, and historic illustrations, this one-of-a-kind tabletop sculpture was hand-made by artist, Brett Huskamp. Utilizing vintage, new, and natural elements, Brett created this whimsical, gothic cage for the spirit of an amazing vulture illustration he discovered in a book from the 1700s. While the image 2024 is a product of today's technology, Brett paid homage to this relic by applying some of his favorite techniques to age the paper, anchored the piece with a silver goblet from the early 1900s then melded the entire sculpture together with fluid lines of wire that encage this majestic creature.
