Old Pelouze Scale 1915 Cast 2024 Iron and Brass Balance Pan Scoop Supreme Excelsior 4 Pounds Postal Scale General Store Decor

Antique Pelouze postal scale. It is cast iron with a brass balance pan scoop. The patent date is May 25, 1915. There is expected paint wear, light dings, tarnish, and age wear. Without the brass top pan, it measures 8 1/2 inches tall. With the pan, it is about 9 1/2 inches tall. The total length is about 15 1/4 inches. One side is labelled Supreme and the is labelled Excelsior. The number and weights paper is mostly worn away. I've seen this style of base called a crow's foot or turkey's foot. It still has a great, rustic General Store look to it. This will most probably ship with UPS Ground.
