STYLE NOTES
Beautiful handwoven cotton throw, handloomed on traditional pitlooms by skilled weavers from an NGO in the remote Thar Desert region of Rajasthan.
Traditionally known as a pattu, these were used as shawls by the nomadic people to protect against the bitter extremes of the desert.
This striking throw in ivory cream and black has a features a striking Rajasthani geometric design and a stylish black fringed border. Drape over a piece of furniture as a throw or use as an indoor rug in the bedroom or as a mat in a children's playroom. Looks great as an accent colour in the bedroom draped over the foot of the bed and as a blanket.
Can also be used outdoors on hard floor areas but do not place on grass or get wet. The perfect accessory for updating a room, use this throw as a focal style accent to add another layer of interest to your decor.

* Handwoven on a traditional pit-loom by artisans
* Artisans are paid a sustainable wage and supported by the NGO.
* Multi-functional - can also be used as a rug but ensure you use an anti-slip rug grip underneath for safety.
* Hardwearing - made from tightly woven cotton, this throw/rug stands up to a lot of use and can easily be machine washed.
Note: These throws are handwoven and therefore each one varies slightly in length. Measurements are given in approximate figures and does not include the fringed detailing on the edges.

Care: Machine wash on a gentle cycle, drip dry out of the sun. Do 2024 not tumble dry.
