Whiskey vs. 2024 Bourbon checkerboard. Made 100% from the barrel lid. Board and pieces are laser etched. Finished with ployurthane.

You are looking at an oak checkerboard 2024 made from a Whiskey/Bourbon barrel lid. This board was glued together, then cut and sanded with 4 grits of paper to make super smooth. After sanding I then laser etched the board. Finally, I finished with a few coats for polyurethane. The pieces are also cut out of the oak whiskey/bourbon barrel lid. The end parts from the board are used to cut the pieces. The pieces are also laser etched. I have also installed felt on the bottom of the board, so it won't scratch other surfaces. Board comes with 26 pieces. 13 of each side (one extra in case you lose one). The board is about 12x12. The pieces are about 1.25 inches in diameter. Everything is handmade and hand cut so dimensions may very slightly, also the wood is natural and may have a few imperfections likes knots and or small holes. Thank you so much for looking.
