Motherhood is one of my favorite subjects to capture. Partially because it's the main season of my life currently, but also because there is something so pure, innocent and beautiful about it.

How many moms look back at the days of early morning snuggles when a little one has crawled into bed just before the sun fills the room. The peace, the closeness, the remembrance of the small frame so at home in a mothers arms..


This piece was painted in oil paint on wood panel. It measures 5x7 with and handmade wooden frame and sawtooth hanger. It can be put on the 2024 wall or is also thick enough it can sit up on a shelf or mantle.
