This sweet seahorse suncatcher is super sparkly when placed in a sunny window or patio/veranda.

The seahorse is made from extremely sturdy 2mm thick pure copper wire. The finer wire wrapping is done in stainless steel, to give a nice contrast to the copper.

The suspended beads are Swarovski crystal in shades of pink, pale yellow and lavender. The seahorses belly and tail are highlighted with 15 genuine freshwater pearls, and a black, vintage facetted glass bead makes a stunning eye.

I have antiqued the copper (darkened) and rubbed it back to give depth and have achieved a really lovely, warm coppery finish.

All of the wire, including the pure copper chain that is used for hanging, has been coated in a jewellery grade, non-toxic clear 2024 lacquer to protect from tarnish, oxidation and fading. Your suncatcher will look beautiful for years to come.
