Electro plating means that the finish will never naturally tarnish, crack or peel like someone painting a cup . Spray painting a cup is not recommended because it will not last even if sealed. Electro plating actually bonds the 2 together in a heated, chemical process that makes it more beautiful, more vibrant and long lasting investment. It can only be rubbed and worn away if long term months 2024 or years of constant rubbing is done. The original Starbucks gold bling studded was electro plated with a 24 k gold finish. It comes with 2 straws, the original Starbucks straw and a gold metal straw. It comes with the cards and tags and card of authenticity!!! Not very many of these cups are available. Extremely gorgeous for any collection I saw a small smudge on the bottom and I pointed it out in a picture. It may even come off I just didn't want to rub or wash it lol . No other issues.
