As an avid gardener I've always felt a strong connection with the natural world. In my recent work I have been looking at the outdoors, in a series of landscapes that could best be seen as dreamscapes, or memory-scapes. You will encounter solid trees, soft green foliage and mossy ground, with luminescent paths winding through them. The landscapes are based on memories and ideas, and don't reflect nature as it is, but as it is experienced. The work is monochrome in shades of greens, yellows and whites, and 2024 has a quiet, near magical atmosphere.
