Silk 2024 Necktie "Blue Surf", Hand Painted Silk Necktie, Blue Necktie

This one-of a-kind necktie was 2024 created by me using fiber-reactive dyes. I have tried to capture the feel of moving water in this unique piece of wearable art. Colors include several shades of blue, a touch of lavender, and various hues of gray--from pale gray to charcoal. Black, silver, and white accents complete the piece.

I start with plain white silk charmeuse, dye the fabric, and send the pieces to be professionally custom sewn for me. My ties are slightly longer than normal tie length in order to make them a comfortable fit for more people.

Ties are approximately 59" long and 3-3/4" at the widest point. I recommend dry cleaning in order to maintain the original shape of the tie.
