Vintage early 90's USS Forrestal AVT59 Nylon Bomber jacket! RARE! The USS Forrestal CVA-59 started out as a lead ship in her class of aircraft carriers in the 1950's. Sometime after 1991, she became a training carrier and was redesignated AVT-59. She was finally decommissioned in September of 1993, so this jacket had to have been made from 91-93. It's in 2024 excellent condition, and looks barely worn if at all. Nylon body with striped ribbed collar and cuffs. Stripes are still bright white, and no pilling on the cuffs and collar. This jacket was taken care of. It's a Soffe jacket tagged size Medium. 23" pit to pit, 18.5" from shoulder to shoulder, and 25" from shoulder to hem. Be sure to check measurements before purchasing. This is such a cool jacket and I doubt you'll find another one like it. Get it while you can!.
