13 slabs of what looks similar to persimmon all off the same log and restacked for matching 2024 slices

This pretty stack of slabs has same bark as persimmon and similar color but isn't quite as hard as we think it should be if it is, and was more 2024 in a shrub type growing near a dogwood, but is not dogwood.it has great heavy bark and tight grain and very dark heart wood. They have been patched and sanded. They range in size measured in inches, from 4 3/4 x 5 to 5 1/4 x 6 and 7/8 thick.
