This 76" by 96" handsewn cotton quilt in an appliqued climbing floral pattern from an Illinois estate is in dire need of attention as there are obvious issues. There are many stains including rust and soiling. It appears that it may have been fastened onto a wire line, clipped with metal clips and exposed to moisture due to the pattern of the staining on the front and the back. I have not attempted to soak or treat. The binding is also frayed/worn/torn as shown. Priced with condition in mind. The quilt is appliqued, assembled, quilted and bound by hand. The cotton prints may be indicative of the last decade feedsacks were produced around the mid century. Please view all of the attached photos for an accurate representation.
