Fire Crystal – Astringent Kaki Persimmon. Fire Crystal is a trade marked name for a persimmon called Lintong Huo Jing. Supposed to have originated from the Xian Region of central China, this is an extremely desirable persimmon in China.
Fire Crystal persimmon tree is a strong grower, and self-fertile. The fruit is round and bright orange, and when fully ripe is delectably sweet. Fruit ripens late October through mid November.
