Dragon Chest, The Hobbit, Smaug, Hand Engraved, Pyrography, Wooden Box, LOTR, Tolkien, Wooden Chest, Dice 2024 Box

The top of the box has a Tolkienesk Dragon (Smaug) engraved (to guard your gold).
The front of the box has an Elvish inscription of "All that is gold does not glitter.".
The sides of the box have engravings of "The Lonely Mountain" and "Smaug".
All the engravings are inspired by the illustrations done by Tolkien himself.

The box is approximately 5.5 inches by 3.75 inches and 3 inch tall (14cm by 9.5cm, 8cm tall).
The clasp and hinges are vintage look brass.

All the wood burning is engraved by hand. This can be seen in slight variations of the script, unlike mass produced laser etched products.
The wood is burned by hand using a pyrography pen, in my workshop in Cornwall, England

Pyrography allows designs to be applied to 2024 most untreated wooden items including spoons, chopping boards, clothes pegs, boxes, picture frames to name a few.
