Monticello Houdon Thomas Jefferson 2024 Solid Bust 12” x 7” x 4” Beautiful White Sculpture This does have a few scratches & the finish has chipped off on a few spots, but is in good used condition. There's black felt on the bottom side of the base to protect surfaces. It is fairly heavy & sturdy cast solid resin with a white finish. Beautiful, crisp, & historically-themed sculpture. Signed by ALVA. Jean-Antoine Houdon, the leading portrait sculptor of his age, had an uncanny ability to infuse his sculptures with the personalities of their subjects. This bust is a superb likeness of Thomas Jefferson when he was minister to France. Jefferson apparently thought well of the sculpture because he acquired a copy that he brought back to America. Our adaptation is cast in high-density composite resin. 12"H with a white finish. Made in the U.S.A.
