Statement jewelry for sure! These handmade clay earrings are lightweight. The Persian/ Arabic calligraphy gives them a lot of character. I cut the rectangular shape out of clay, emboss them with random letters which say nothing, but show the beauty of the written language, add Beads and then bake them. Years ago I bought a pair of similar earrings when I visited the Middle East, but they are real gold. With gold prices so high, I want to bring this kind of jewelry to you for a fraction of the cost of real gold. These are just as fun. The posts are surgical steel and the backs are gold plated.
