Another find from my ransack through my dad's stash. These natural color nephrite jade beads are also from the late 70's, or the early 80's which make them vintage. They are in great quality and have this intense dark green color. And absolutely gorgeous when held against the light with this translucent spinach green hitting through.

In Chinese culture, jade is priceless. It is considered a heavenly gem. It represents 2024 prosperity follows by luck.

This pair of earrings are made with approx. 10mm beads. They are at a good visible size and yet comfortable to wear. With the wire wrapped, the total width comes around 14.5mm. Since these are hand wrapped, the wire shaping / wrapping are not identical. In my opinion, hand wrapped jewelry makes everything more lively than machine made which could be cookie cutter like.
