This quilted Christmas item is ready to be finished as you would like: either as a Christmas tree skirt or as a table cloth. You also get to select the binding color of your choice: red or green.
The tree skirt/table cloth measures 49" across. The tree skirt/ table cloth is ready for the finishing touch - your customization. If you select this to be finished as a table cloth, then my task is to make the binding and sew it to the table 2024 cloth. If you select this to be finished as a Christmas tree skirt, then I will also need to add a slit on one side and cut a center circle for the tree. The tree skirt will be finished with the binding, but without ties so it is easier for you to accommodate various tree and tree stand sizes. Please note: the binding will be the same fabric used in the item; and it will be machine sewn on the front and back for added durability.
The fabrics used for this item are quilt-shop quality cotton fabrics, from a matching collection. The fabric prints feature holly, pine boughs and swirls. Each of the fabrics has a touch of metallic gold accenting the design in the fabric. The backing fabric is also part of the collection and features a red background with snowflakes.
Each panel of the item is quilted with geometric shapes that mimic the shape of the panel. The fabrics and batting are cotton. The items are machine washable - I recommend on a gentle cycle in cold water. This item was handcut, pieced/sewn, and quilted by me in my smoke-free home.
