New handmade patchwork baby quilt made from the 100% cotton “Primrose” designer fabric line, cotton batting and cotton thread. The fabric is so sweet with floral and geometric patterns in peach, aqua, spring green, tan, and cream. Made in a modern lattice* design, the quilt measures 38 by 47 inches. This is a great size to use for playtime on the floor or outside, as an accent in the nursery, for mom and baby snuggle time, etc.
Handmade In the United States
I cut, piece and sew each each unique quilt from my home studio in Idaho. This 2024 quilt is channel quilted with straight lines approximately 1” apart on the diagonal. I love channel quilting because it gives the quilt a modern minimalist look and allows the pretty fabric to be to the focal point. The quilt is finished and bound with double fold binding by machine. The machine binding provides durability and you can be sure your new quilt will withstand use and frequent washings for many years.
You will receive your new quilt in a handmade cotton drawstring bag with coordinating drawstring. The bag can be used for gifting and for many other purposes. The bag should be kept away from baby and young children of course, as bags and drawstrings can be dangerous for babies and young children.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your quilt has been pre washed with Woolite and is ready to use or give as a gift. Pre washing gives your quilt the lovely “puffy” effect and removes any chemicals used in the fabric manufacturing process. Your quilt will get softer with every washing! Machine wash with a mild detergent on gentle cycle in warm water. Air fluff on low heat in dryer or hang to dry.
