Napier Golden Ribbons Adjustable 2024 Spiral Ring Frances Whitney Bonwit Teller Exclusive Design 1969 Book Piece Ad Piece

An interesting ring with an interesting provenance. This signed Napier ring was designed by artist/designer Frances Whitney and was sold exclusively at Bonwit Teller. The adjustable ring is gold plated brass that has been hand manipulated into a spiral. The ring is part of a 1969 collection and the 2024 ad is featured in "The Napier Company: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry" by Melinda Lewis. The ring is currently a size 7. The ring is 1 inch wide and the spiral rises 1 inch above the finger.
