Michael McKinley Rogers, Franklin NC's own native son has
always been inspired by his Appalachian Mountain Home. For
over 40 years he has been a watercolor artist, photographer,
and graphic designer. He's been a paid motivational speaker
for artistic encouragement & nature conservation.
His pastoral work has been sold nationally & appeared on TV. He designed the very first "Friends of the Smokies" car tag for the state of North Carolina, which raised over $1.5 million dollars for the North Carolina side of Great Smokies National Park. 2024
