Vintage salad serving fork and spoon set with hand carved Phoenix bird handle with inlay and brass 2024 details made in Jezzine Lebanon by Haddad Mid Century 60s to 70s.

The handles are in the traditional style of the Haddad family which have handles made from animal horn, brass wings, red plastic combs, and back of bird inlayed with red, brass, and blue colored discs and have silver plated handles.

The bird is in the shape of the HudHud Hoopoe bird native to Jezzine Lebanon but now extinct.

These are really whimsical pieces and have made in Lebanon incised on the back of the handle.

Measurements: 9 1/2" long by 2" across (approximate for both)

Condition: pre owned, the handles are made of horn with black enamel over them and have creases in areas which may be due to crevices in the horn that has cracked the paint over time, these both just have made in Lebanon and do not have the Haddad name on them (as well as everyone elses on the internet).
