Cremation urn volumes are measured in cubic inches. Your needs can be determined by using the general formula of one cubic inch per pound of body weight. For example, if a person weighed 175 pounds then an urn of at least 175 cubic inches would be needed. The industry standard is 220 cubic inches and this is the size I make most of my urns.
